All his thinking about new challenges in his own life was informed by this unstated fear that he would be left alone to deal with them.

The mystery at the center of the resurrected life is that it has already happened, we have already “been raised with Christ.”

In the Gospels we see Jesus inviting his new friends to accompany him on his journey from place to place, town to town, to follow him.

I invite the reader to think about their relationship with Jesus in the same way they think about and experience all their relationships.

When we use our imagination in prayer we follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
