"Prayer is becoming a longing for God."
Reflections on Spirituality, Prayer,
God and Life
I have been a Spiritual Director for nearly 20 years. I was a pastor many years ago and currently drive a transit bus. I have always been curious about the ways Jesus works in people's lives, mine included. I do not come with answers. Rather, I come with a listening ear and a curious heart.
Along with spiritual direction, writing is another way that I investigate the ways of God in my life. I have far more questions than answers but the Father keeps drawing me near.
I have been married to Andrea since 1989 and we have four amazing kids and two, almost three, kids-in-law. We are currently enjoying the gifts of grandparenting and living into the next season of life.
Feel free to contact me to talk about ways I might support your life with God.
Services & Resources
Spiritual Direction is an opportunity to have someone listen to the movements of the Spirit in your life and discover the invitations that God is offering.
I have led prayer retreats for many years. These are opportunities to take time away from your regular rhythms and find space to listen to God.
I have been seeing Dan as my Spiritual Director for a number of years now. He is compassionate, long-listening, and wise. I can honestly say that I would not be where I am as a person or as a Pastor without his companionship on the journey of faith. He has walked with me through dark days, and rejoiced with me in days of celebration. If you are looking for a Spiritual Director...look no further.
Jay - Pastor
At each of our spiritual direction sessions, I’m invited into a sacred space where Dan helps me turn my attention specifically to Jesus.
He facilities a space to hear truth and a space to receive love; a space of invitation, not advice giving; a space of curiosity not shame.
Dan invites me again and again to look to Jesus and ask Him how he sees me, and I leave each session having heard the Father’s precious words of life and love.

"I am always surprised by what the Trinity does during my conversations with Dan. I often don't know what to talk about at the start of our time together, but through Dan's relaxed presence, the questions he asks, and the space he makes for us to listen together, God speaks clearly to the deepest places of my heart. And I am blessed.
